Life Coaching Comments I want to let you know that you did a great job helping me through all of these changes. You had my brain derailed from its previous set of tracks, and I don't feel trapped, or on a treadmill, or suffocated. I have 2 weeks left at my place of employment, and I can feel my chest beginning to loosen. All this thanks to you. I appreciate it. You have a wonderful gift. It has only been one week since my meeting with Lynne and my life has changed quite dramatically. When Lynne and I got together for the session I couldn’t even tell her what I wanted to work on, there was so much going on in my life. All I knew was that I needed some help. I thought that maybe work was the problem. Lynne spoke with me and asked me questions while I just talked about different things that were happening in my life. Lynne successfully pinpointed the area which came up a few times as I spoke with her. I was surprised because during our conversation I kept saying “but that’s not the problem.” After two hours of work with Lynne around “ not the problem” I feel like a brand new woman and my relationship with my mom has become so wonderful. I had been swallowing my words for years and there were things that I needed to say. Now, after all these years I can focus on all the good things that she brings to my life and how generous she is, but I also see how scared she is at times too. I discovered that like me, she is human and has fears. I am feeling a lot better in general and I have found my voice for other things as well and I am so grateful to Lynne for this. For the first time at a business meeting I was at ease speaking with strangers, I didn’t feel the need to seek out the people I already knew. FP Halifax, NSOver six months ago, I searched the net for life coaches in Halifax, because I needed someone to help me overcome my insecurities and anxieties. I needed someone who not only had life coaching tools, but who would also be there to help me work with them. In my search a few life coaches came up and I met with two of them. One of which was Lynne Smith. The moment I met her, I cannot help but remember her energy and spirit, as well as her warm and welcoming smile. Many life coaches out there try to give band aid solutions to ongoing issues. However, Lynne Smith was devoted to finding the source of the problem, the cause of the symptoms, so to speak. And that made great sense, how can you solve a problem when you cannot identify the source? And that was exactly what I needed. Someone to help me see what was causing all my insecurities and anxieties. At the time when I met her, I had so much going on in my life, and I felt as though I was in the middle of the ocean with no land in sight, struggling to swim. After I met her, I began to see a glimmer of land. She was like a large hand grabbing on to me and saving me from drowning. She was able to get my feet back on the ground. She was able to help me stand up, and dust myself off. She helped me gain my confidence again, and feel empowered to accomplish my goals. Within a short period of time, she helped me succeed in my career, get promoted and move on to a much more challenging position in my organization. Her ability to find the negative garbage in your head and resolve passed issues was amazing. I could not have gone though this year without her.
